An award-winning abstract artist, Dakoro creates large-scale oil and mixed media paintings that reflect or inspire positive and calm mood settings. A nationwide art instructor and fashion designer, he is also known for custom mural installations. Dakoro owned the historic Dakoro Art Gallery, which served as a forward-thinking venue for global art installations, speaking seminars, fashion shows for local designers, and private events. As a Master Barber for 30 years, he’s worked with celebrities and the Georgia community alike. During the pandemic, his Draw With Dakoro online art classes for all ages reached 3,500 guests per week, supported by local STEAM programs. He also leads Dakoro Live, a traveling art event where he creates live abstract works with the energy of a live band or DJ.
